Amidst her solitude, a beacon of hope emerged in the form of an adolescent group, a collaborative initiative by Jago Foundation and CRY, beckoning her to break free from her cocoon of silence. Initially hesitant, Preeti took hesitant steps towards this newfound community, guided by compassionate souls who saw beyond her walls of silence.
With unwavering support and counseling, Preeti blossomed, her voice echoing with newfound confidence. In a testament to her resilience, she ascended to the presidency of the group, becoming a beacon of inspiration for her peers. Yet, her journey had just begun.
Recognizing her academic potential, the organization extended a helping hand, providing remedial support and invaluable study materials. Guided by dedicated project staff and CARC teacher, Preeti embarked on a journey of academic excellence, her perseverance culminating in a remarkable feat – scoring an impressive 77 percent in her matriculation examination.
The joyous echoes of her achievement reverberated through the humble abode she shared with her grandparents, filling their hearts with pride and hope for a brighter future. Fuelled by her unwavering determination, Preeti now sets her sights on new horizons, aspiring to pursue intermediate studies in science, with a steadfast resolve to serve her nation as a police inspector.
